There are other questions that I get like, “Can I use any products for whitening?” The answer is no. I wouldn’t suggest any products in the market for whitening. Whitening should only be done by a professionally qualified doctor of teeth, who is a dentist. Always listen to your dentist and their instructions to how to whiten your teeth.

The fundamental thing that you have to remember is,

Brush twice a day & floss once a day

People ask me which teeth do I floss: I only floss my front teeth because I can’t get on to my back teeth. Well, if you can get on with your food and fork on your back teeth to chew them, you should be able to floss them too because obviously we floss the teeth that we need to keep, so you decide which teeth you need to keep and you floss.

People ask me this question, how long does the whitening last? I would say it lasts forever because with the Zoom whitening we give them a custom made whitening tray to take home, so which can be used as at home whitening procedure. So they take it home and after within one month of Zoom whitening if they think that their teeth are staining depending on their consumption of staining food they can use the take-home whitening gel and the whitening trays, put them in.

We have two different types of whitening gels to take home, Day White and Night White. Night White goes into the tray and put them in for overnight. Day White is about 30 minutes so patients can do it as long as they like, man. I would recommend after a Zoom session they will need two to three days when they’re doing it at home every six months or so.

Follow my instructions with the whitening procedure at home then you can have white teeth forever.

Cause we don’t want to whiten the gums, we whiten only the teeth.

This is made of flexible material, so it’s flexible soft plastic, and we advise the patients to put the whitening gel around the outer surface of this tray, and after putting the whitening gel, they pop the tray back into their teeth, and leave it overnight for night white, and for day white I leave the gel about half an hour to 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes take this tray out, rinse your mouth, and rinse the tray with cold water, brush off all the gel, and keep it in the box provided for using next time.
